Jason Cook

Host of the JC Pictures Short Film Awards.

We are excited to introduce Jason Cook, a talented author and filmmaker with a passion for storytelling. Jason's works cover a wide range of topics, and his latest literary piece, "Cookster," which is a prequel to Jason's quadrilogy of books, chronicling his early life growing up in Borehamwood and has been adapted into a movie production titled "Cookster: The Darkest Days".

Working with international production teams in England and Indonesia, Jason's skills continue to grow as he works within the film industry alongside Silent D Pictures.

Jason's commitment to supporting creativity and giving back to the community led him to create the TWF Short Film Awards. Originally called the TT Short Film Awards to reflect its sponsor, Tried and Trusted magazine, the event was later renamed to better represent Jason's vision and held bi-annually.

Due to Jason's work commitments and the COVID-19 pandemic, the awards were put on hold. However, with the continued support of generous sponsors, Jason has launched the new JC Pictures Short Film Awards. The upcoming event on 8th October 2023 aims to celebrate the best of creativity while raising funds for local charities.

All ticket sale proceeds will be donated to these worthy causes:
